Gallery Hire

If you are considering hiring a gallery to hold an exhibition it is no good renting a side street 'space to let' with no passing trade and no established profile. You need a real gallery with a window display that is SEEN by many people and has a constant passing trade. The Rainbird Gallery is probably one of the most high profile art galleries in central London. It is positioned in Clerkenwell on the main artery connecting Hoxton/Shoreditch with the West End of London and its window display is seen by thousands of people each week day. The gallery is occasionally available for hire at very reasonable rates for weekly (minimum) exhibitions or by companies for single evening corporate functions that do not involve disturbing the current exhibition. We can also accomodate floor based sculpture, installations and film and book launches. Either the main ground floor gallery plus window display or just the lower gallery can be hired and sometimes the whole gallery can be available. You can find floor plans at the 'Gallery Information' section of this site (from Home Page click on lower right gallery icon). We can send basic hire details on request by email to info@RainbirdFineArt.com and full booking conditions can be obtained from the gallery after potential hirer's have visited and confirmed that it is definitely suitable for their needs. In the interests of maintaining Rainbird's reputation and quality of work exhibited we do require to approve work intended for exhibiting at the gallery by hirers. Individual artists may also be interested in applying to be included in one of our occasional Fresh Art exhibitions where they can hire wall space by the metre. See the 'Gallery Information' section for how to apply.

Images (commercial usage)

If you should see images on this website that you may be interested in using for editorial usage such as magazine covers, editorial etc. we can normally arrange this subject to agreed credits and permission of artist. We can also consider more commercial art licensing usage subject to the normal agreements and protections. Please email us with full details of the art you may be interested in and the potential usage.

Commissioning

Most of the artists exhibited at Rainbird's gallery are available to produce commissioned work. You can therefore have site specific work produced to your size and/or budget requirements which can be particularly suitable for office or corporate environments.

Leasing

For companies who may like to change their art occasionally or 'live with a piece' before committing to purchase, leasing offers the ideal solution and includes an option to buy. We can sometimes (after agreement with artist) offer long term (over 6 months) or short term (daily, weekly or monthly). Details on request (from companies only).

Interest free credit

For some larger purchases we can offer a period of interest free credit. We will discuss this with serious buyers who do have a particular piece in mind.

Framing

Framing is an art in itself and best left to the professionals. We therefore do not produce frames ourselves but can co-ordinate or/and refer clients and customers of the gallery to a framer we think will be suitable for their needs.
